So, the hubby and I started Day 1 of the Week 3 of the Insanity Workout today. Here are my fit test #s from today:
Switch Kicks: 120---- +4** ( I actually did these correctly this time- full out! so that 4 is really alot more)
Power Jacks: 41---- +4
Power Knees: 100---- +16
Power Jumps: 20---- +0
Frog Jumps: 8------ +2 rotations
Suicides: 16-------- +6
Push-up Jacks: 21---- +6
Plank/Knees: 50----- +10
Obvi, I need to work on those power jumps, but overall I'm happy. Especially with those plank-knees-- those are really hard!
Ok.....here are my weight/measurement #s:
Weight: 224.8 -3.8 lbs
Body Fat: 49.4% -.3% in 6 days!
Chest: 37" -.5"
Upper Waist: 34" -.5"
Lower Waist: 37.5" -1"
Hips: 41.5" -.5"
Thighs: 27" -0"
Arms: 14.75/14.8 -.25"
Total 1 week weight loss: 3.8 lbs
Total 1 week " loss: 2.75"
I did great with my eating this week, until the weekend that is. Went to Old Country on Saturday (rib night!), and then to Maggiano's (the best Italian restauarant in the world!) with my gfs on Sunday afternoon. Tried to limit portion sizes, but let's be honest--- no matter what I eat at these places it's a problem! lol. I'm trying not to be too hard on myself, but it's hard. I realize that's why I've failed so many times in the past--- I don't cut myself any slack. EVER. I have to stop doing that....it's self-sabatouge.
So, I'm recommitting this week to eating better, and I'm going to try to squeeze in a few 20 minute workout sessions this week, IN ADDITION to the Insanity Workouts.
My goal for the week (Friday) is 222. Push IVV!!

I've tried various low-carb, low-calorie, and low-fat diets for the past couple of years. Although the Atkins diet is very popular, it made me feel somewhat unhealthy.
ReplyDeleteThe diet plan I'm on right now is the Medifast Diet. The caloric intake is roughly 800-1000 calories. However, it doesn't make my body feel weak. It is a bit of a pricey diet, but there are plenty of coupons available on the internet. www.swoopup.com/stores/deals/Medifast-Diet. You should never pay full price.
My advice is just choose a diet plan which your body reacts positively to. No one knows your body better than you do!
